Our day of alternate learning experiences (a.k.a. ditching school!)
You HAVE to click on this group of pictures to enlarge it and appreciate the impact of Allison's facial expressions. Her first ride walking in the gates of Knotts! Thanks to big brother "B" for helping her through it!
Some of our other fun rides and activities.
The boys rode this ride about 4 times. It suited them all perfectly... not too tall, not too fast, not too scary!

I'm all for ditching school to go to an amusement park! Fun! Alison is adorable.
ditch school huh? Move to Iowa and you can have 3 days in a row off plus the Monday holiday, all because the over-anxious superintendent cancels school for no good reason. Sheesh. If I'd known we'd have SIX days off we could have flown out and come with you!!!!
HAHAHAHAHA!!!Allison's facial expressions in those photos are priceless! Love the captions...thanks for the sharing and the laugh.
I have some pictures of Joseph making that same face on one of those huge carnival slides. :) Looks like a fun day! Some of my best memories as a kid are from when my parents would pull us out of school to do something fun~!
I haven't been to Knott's Berry Farm in years! Maybe after our Dland passes expire we'll go there!
Alli's face is priceless...I am laughing out loud. She is just so dang cute. That's good that Blake could be there to reassure her.
Shhhh . . . don't tell Amy!
Those pics of Allison are priceless! I love her concerned little face. Ok, so we've never been to Knott's. Maybe we'll give that a try instead of Disneyland this year. If I'm feeling brave.
Looks like a great way to spend the day! Allison is so cute!!
Ally looks soo cute with bangs. I feel for her. I'm not to fond of the "tickle belly" sensation either.
Perfectly captioned. LOL Cuter than cute.
Did you get the elephant ear (or whatever the pastry is called)? I remember how much you loved those ~ a good memory.
Elephant Ear? Never heard of that. But I definitely got my Funnel Cake smothered in Knott's Blackberry Jam! YUM!! Worth the trip just for that!
Oh Man Alli's face is too cute in those pictures! I can't believe she actually went on that ride! She looks so small in it! what a brave little girl : )
